Websites

A website, a shop and a community built on your own data.

Odoo's website apps let you publish pages, sell online, run events, teach courses, write a blog and host a forum from the same database that already holds your products, stock, customers and orders. The site is not a separate system that has to be kept in step.

In Odoo, eCommerce builds on the Website app. Odoo's pricing page says eCommerce depends on Website and Invoicing, and you get those required apps with it.

What it does

A site your team can change, and a shop that tells the truth.

A website goes stale when only one person can edit it and the shop shows stock you no longer have. Odoo's website apps are built so the team edits the pages directly and the shop reads the live records.

01Build by blocks
Drag and drop building blocks, adjust layouts, apply image filters and animate elements directly on the page, without writing code.
02A head start from AI
An AI-powered configurator builds a first site in four steps (business type, colour palette, logo and theme), and AI can write or retone page copy from a prompt.
03A shop tied to your stock
Products with variants such as size and colour update their stock for each variant in real time, and orders flow into the same sales and invoicing records.
04Find and be found
A built-in SEO tool helps write search-friendly content, an analytics dashboard shows visitors, and pages can be translated into the languages you install.
05Events, courses and community
Sell event tickets, publish courses with quizzes and certificates, write a blog and run a forum, all on the same site.
06Visitors become leads
Website visits and live chat can generate leads in CRM, and appointment pages let people book time with you.

A no-code builder with AI to get you started

Design, write and publish without a developer.

  • A four-step AI configurator asks for the business type, a colour palette, a logo and a theme, then builds a first site.
  • Drag and drop blocks, fine-tune layouts, apply image filters and effects, and animate elements on the page.
  • AI can write copy from a prompt or change the tone of text you already have.
  • Mobile responsive: the site adapts to every device, and you choose what appears on mobile.
  • Illustrations and photos come from the free Unsplash library, and a domain name is free for the first year.
  • Install languages and translate content from any page; an SEO tool and an analytics dashboard are built in.
  • Odoo 20 describes an AI Website Assistant that can choose and edit snippets, add or generate images, create pages and web forms, and change menus.
What you’re looking at

Blocks, not code

Each section of a page is a block you can move, restyle or replace. The page you see while editing is the page visitors will see.

A worked example

One purchase, from a page to a follow-up.

A single online purchase followed through the apps, from what Odoo's pages say each one does. It is an illustration, not a promise of any particular set-up.

  1. Visitor landsA page built from blocks shows the product.
  2. Adds to cartThe shop shows the variant and its live stock.
  3. Pays onlineA payment provider takes the payment and the invoice is created.
  4. Stock reservedThe order reduces stock and starts the delivery.
  5. Follow-up sentAn email goes to the customer, with related products.

Illustrative. Which payment providers and couriers you use is decided in the project.
