Make your cloud budget go further, with funding and smarter buying.

We help you secure hyperscaler funding for assessments and migrations, and buy SAP and other software through the AWS, Microsoft and Google Cloud marketplaces. Where your agreements allow, eligible marketplace purchases count towards cloud commitments you have already made, so one budget does more work.

Why it matters

Why funding and procurement matter

Many organisations sign a multi-year commitment with a cloud provider and then buy software, including SAP, through entirely separate contracts. That leaves cloud commitments underused while software budgets are stretched, and it means more suppliers, more contracts and more invoices to manage. At the same time, hyperscalers offer funding for assessments and migrations that many customers never claim because they do not know it exists or how to apply.

Underused commitments

Cloud spend commitments are often sized for future growth. Routing eligible software purchases through the marketplace helps you use what you have already committed.

Fragmented procurement

Buying through a marketplace puts software on your existing cloud bill, under terms your procurement and legal teams have already agreed.

Unclaimed funding

Hyperscaler funding programmes can offset part of the cost of assessments, proofs of concept and migrations. They have eligibility rules and need a partner to apply.

Timing

Funding and marketplace offers often need to be arranged before contracts are signed. Planning early avoids missing them.

What we do

What we do

We work alongside your procurement and finance teams to plan how cloud and software are bought and funded.

01

Commitment review

We review your current AWS, Azure or Google Cloud agreements and how much of each commitment is being used. We identify software purchases that could count towards them.

02

Marketplace buying for SAP

We check which SAP offerings, such as SAP Cloud ERP and SAP BTP, are available through each marketplace for your country. We help you arrange the purchase as a private offer where SAP supports it.

03

Other software through the marketplace

Many ISVs list security, data, backup and monitoring tools on the marketplaces. We help you choose eligible listings so these purchases also count towards your commitment.

04

Hyperscaler funding applications

We help secure funding for discovery, assessments, proofs of concept and migrations. We prepare the business case and evidence the provider needs and manage the application.

05

Commercial structuring

We help you plan the order of contracts so funding, marketplace offers and commitments line up. We flag terms such as eligibility rules and purchasing channels that affect whether spend counts.

06

Tracking and reporting

After purchase we track commitment drawdown and funding milestones. Finance gets a clear view of what has been used and what remains.

Buying SAP through your cloud provider

SAP has made several of its cloud subscriptions available through hyperscaler marketplaces. AWS lists SAP Cloud ERP and SAP BTP and states that existing AWS commitments can count towards SAP purchases; Microsoft announced SAP Cloud ERP packages and SAP BTP for its marketplace; and Google Cloud lists SAP BTP and lets customers use existing spend commitments for it. Under RISE with SAP, SAP still runs the infrastructure on the hyperscaler you choose, whichever way you buy. We help you work out whether marketplace buying is available for your SAP scope and country, and whether it makes commercial sense for you.

  • We check which SAP offerings are available through each marketplace in Sri Lanka or India before you plan around them.
  • We help you align a RISE with SAP or GROW with SAP purchase with the cloud provider that hosts it and your existing commitment.
  • We include SAP BTP and related services so integration and extension spend can count towards the same commitment.
  • We keep your SAP account team and cloud account team aligned so the private offer reflects what you agreed.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can we buy RISE with SAP through a cloud marketplace?

SAP offers several cloud subscriptions through hyperscaler marketplaces, and AWS states that SAP purchases on AWS Marketplace can count towards existing AWS commitments. What is available depends on the cloud, the SAP product and your country. We confirm the current options with SAP and the provider for your case.

Does every marketplace purchase count towards our commitment?

No. Each provider has eligibility rules. On Azure only offers marked Azure benefit eligible and bought through the Azure portal count, and Google Cloud excludes some categories such as professional services. We check eligibility before you buy.

What can hyperscaler funding be used for?

Hyperscaler funding programmes typically support activities such as discovery and assessment, proofs of concept and migration delivery. Funding depends on the provider, the workload and the size of the opportunity, and it is never guaranteed. We help secure funding and tell you early whether a project is likely to qualify.

Can customers in Sri Lanka and India use the marketplaces?

Yes, the marketplaces serve customers in both countries, but listings and terms can vary by country. In India, AWS Marketplace added local rupee invoicing for offers from India-based sellers in November 2025. We check what applies to your entity before planning around it.

Will this change who supports our software?

No. Buying through a marketplace changes how you pay, not who supports the product. The vendor, such as SAP, remains responsible for its software and support under its own terms.
