Reach people on every channel, and see what each message earned.
Odoo's marketing apps cover email, SMS, social media, automated journeys, WhatsApp and surveys. They work from the same contacts and the same sales records as the rest of Odoo, so a campaign's results include the leads it created and the orders that followed.
SMS and some other services are paid for with prepaid in-app purchase credits, which are not part of Odoo's plans. WhatsApp message fees are charged through Meta.
Campaigns tied to the customer, not to a list.
Marketing loses its value when the people it reaches are in one tool and the results in another. Odoo's marketing apps send from the contacts you already have and report against the leads and orders those contacts produce.
- 01Build without a developer
- Compose emails from templates or from scratch with drag-and-drop blocks, check them on any device and schedule the send.
- 02Send to the right people
- Segment by criteria such as country, date or job function, and for SMS by past orders, abandoned carts, list subscriptions or event attendance.
- 03Automate the journey
- A visual editor builds multi-path campaigns that move leads, assign prospects to sales, update records and branch on opens, clicks or replies.
- 04Message where people are
- Send and receive WhatsApp messages from any Odoo record, using templates for invoices, tickets and receipts.
- 05Ask, then listen
- Surveys gather feedback, run live sessions and feed the answers back into appraisals, events and recruitment.
- 06See what it earned
- Link tracking and CRM integration show conversion rates, expected revenue and the revenue a campaign generated.

Email people read, and results you can follow
Templates, segments, tracking and revenue in one place.
- Build campaigns from scratch or from a theme, with drag-and-drop blocks for titles, calls to action, social buttons and footers.
- Segment your database by criteria such as country, date and job function.
- Layout and images adapt to tablets, phones, laptops and desktops.
- Real-time statistics cover sent emails, opens, bounces, clicks and the revenue or orders generated.
- Link Tracker adds tracking codes to campaign links and reports on a dashboard.
- Connect campaigns to CRM to analyse conversion rates, expected revenue and generated revenue.
A campaign with a bottom line
Each email reports not just opens and clicks but the revenue or orders that followed, because the contacts are the same ones sales works with.
A campaign that earns its keep.
One campaign followed through the apps, from what Odoo's pages say each one does. It is an illustration, not a promise of any particular set-up.
- Segment chosenPick the contacts: by country, job function or past orders.
- Message sentAn email goes out, with tracked links.
- Journey runsClicks and silences each trigger their own follow-up.
- Lead qualifiedCRM scores the response and routes a strong lead to sales.
- Order wonThe order is recorded, and its revenue returns to the campaign report.
Illustrative. A real project decides the segments, the channels and who follows up on a lead.
The people behind a campaign.

Where AI appears in marketing.
Odoo's documentation lists AI in email templates among its AI features. We describe no more than that.
- 01AI in email templates
- Odoo's AI documentation lists this among its features, alongside AI fields and voice transcription.
- 02Credits
- Odoo 20's release notes say AI features now need credits, bought through in-app purchases.

Straight answers.
Does SMS Marketing cost extra?
Yes. Odoo says SMS runs on credits you buy inside the app, and the price per message depends on the destination. Odoo's pricing page lists in-app purchase credits among what the plans do not include.
How does WhatsApp work with Odoo?
You connect it through an integration with Meta's API. Odoo describes pre-configured and custom templates, and conversations that appear on the records they relate to. Message fees are charged through Meta.
Can I see revenue per campaign?
Odoo's Email Marketing page says its statistics include the revenue or orders generated, and that connecting to CRM lets you analyse conversion rates, expected revenue and generated revenue.
Do I need Marketing Automation to send email?
No. Email Marketing sends campaigns on its own. Marketing Automation adds visual, multi-step journeys on top.
Can I run a live poll at an event?
Yes. Surveys has Live Sessions, where a host controls the pace and participants see and rank results live, and it works with Events.
Is there a limit to who I can email?
Odoo's pages describe segmenting your database and do not state a limit. Check delivery rules and consent for your own markets before sending.
