Claude at work, for your people and your products.

Claude is Anthropic's family of AI models and the products built on them. Anthropic describes two ways to bring it into an organisation: Claude Enterprise, which gives every employee Claude with the controls IT needs, and the Claude Platform, which lets developers build Claude into products and agents.

Anthropic, Claude and its product names are Anthropic's trademarks. These pages use no Anthropic logos or artwork.

Two ways in, two products

Deploy Claude to your people, build it into your products, or both.

Anthropic describes two ways to bring Claude into an organisation, and two products most people use. Each has its own page here, followed by the models and the security answers.

How it fits together

One family of models, every surface.

Anthropic says the same frontier models power every surface, from business apps to developer tools. That is what lets one organisation use Claude in many ways without starting over each time.

01The models underneath
Fable, Opus, Sonnet and Haiku, from the most capable to the fastest, available in the apps and through the API.
02Where people work
The Claude app on web, desktop and mobile, and Claude inside Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Chrome and Slack.
03Where developers work
Claude Code in the terminal and IDE, and the Claude Platform for building products and agents.
04What it can reach
Connectors and the Model Context Protocol bring in your apps and data; skills package your procedures.
05Who controls it
SSO, SCIM, roles, audit logs and retention for people; workspaces, keys and limits for what developers build.
06Where it runs
Anthropic's own platform, or Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Foundry, with regional residency.
  1. WrittenA team packages its month-end procedure as a skill.
  2. SharedAdmins deploy it across the organisation.
  3. Used at workFinance runs it in Claude and in Excel.
  4. Used in codeEngineers call it from Claude Code.
  5. Used by agentsA managed agent runs it on a schedule.

Illustrative: built from Anthropic’s statement that the same skill runs across Claude, Claude Code and the API without changes. What each team may use is set by your administrators.

Where to start

Pick the situation closest to yours. We will show which part of Claude usually comes first, and what to look at next.

In Sri Lanka and India

Our two markets, stated plainly.

What Anthropic's own pages say about the two countries we work in, as we read them in November 2026.

QuestionWhat Anthropic says
AvailabilitySri Lanka and India are both on Anthropic's Supported Regions Policy, covering the Claude apps, Claude Code, the API and Claude models through cloud platforms.
Data residencyIndia is among the Asia-Pacific regions Anthropic names for regional data residency, alongside Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Australia. No Sri Lankan region is named.
Who countsThe policy also looks at where an organisation is incorporated or headquartered and who owns or controls it, so group structures should be checked before signing.

Availability and residency in detail

Beside what you already run

Claude next to SAP, Salesforce, Odoo and MiHCM.

Claude does not replace your business systems; it works with them. What Anthropic's pages describe, and how we would apply it.

RouteHow Claude reaches it
ConnectorsReady-made connectors for common apps, such as Microsoft 365, Google Drive, Gmail, Notion and Slack, and a marketplace of connectors and plugins.
Your own MCP serversThe Model Context Protocol is an open standard; custom connectors and MCP servers can expose your own systems to Claude, and MCP tunnels reach servers in a private network.
The APIYour applications call the Claude Platform directly, with tool use to look up and update records in your systems.
The browserClaude in Chrome and computer use can work in web applications that have no API, with a person approving what happens.

Anthropic’s own examples include updating Salesforce opportunities from call notes. For each of your systems we would check the connector marketplace first, and where there is no connector, build and scope the connection like any integration.

Rolling out Claude

What a Claude programme involves.

The software is ready on day one. The work is deciding what Claude may see and do, connecting it, and helping people change how they work.

01Governance first
Identity, data classes, retention and the connectors each department may use, agreed with security and legal before launch.
02Use cases that pay
Frequent, measurable tasks in each department, chosen with the people who do them.
03Skills and connectors
Your procedures written as skills, and your systems connected through connectors or MCP servers.
04Agents where they fit
Managed agents for processes that run end to end, each with a person accountable for its output.
05Training by role
Short sessions for each function, built on that function's own tasks.
06Measured and expanded
Usage, spend and outcomes reviewed monthly, and the next use cases added.

Decisions to settle before you start

  • Claude Enterprise for your people, the Claude Platform for your products, or both.
  • Direct from Anthropic, or through AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Foundry.
  • Which region data is stored and processed in.
  • Which systems Claude may reach, and what it may change without asking.
  • Who owns Claude internally, and how new uses are approved.

Questions

Straight answers.

Who is Anthropic, and what is Claude?

Anthropic is an AI research and products company, set up as a public benefit corporation, whose stated mission is to ensure the world safely makes the transition through transformative AI. Claude is its family of AI models and the products built on them: the Claude app, Claude Code and the Claude Platform for developers.

What are the ways to bring Claude into an organisation?

Anthropic describes two. Claude Enterprise deploys Claude to your workforce, giving every employee chat, Claude Cowork, Claude Code and company connectors with admin controls. The Claude Platform gives developers the API to build Claude into products, services and agents. Many organisations use both.

Is Claude available in Sri Lanka and India?

Yes. Both are on Anthropic's Supported Regions Policy, which covers its apps, its API and Claude models through cloud platforms. India is also among the Asia-Pacific regions Anthropic names for regional data residency.

Does Anthropic train its models on our data?

Anthropic says that by default it does not use prompts, data or results from commercial deployments, including Claude Enterprise and the Claude Platform, to train its models.

Which Claude model should we use?

It depends on the job. Anthropic positions Opus 5.5 as the daily driver for coding and enterprise work, Sonnet 5.5 for well-scoped work at scale, Haiku 5.5 for speed and volume, and Fable 5.1 for its most ambitious long-running work. The same models power every surface.

Can Claude run in our own cloud?

Yes. Anthropic offers Claude through Amazon Web Services (including Amazon Bedrock), Google Cloud and Microsoft Foundry, billed through that cloud and counting towards your commitments.

Does Claude work with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?

Yes. Claude for Microsoft 365 works inside Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, and Claude for Google Workspace, in beta, inside Docs, Sheets and Slides. Connectors bring in other apps such as Google Drive, Gmail, Notion and Slack.
